Hello! Today I'm going to share with you what I will like to change of my study programme.
As you know, I'm studying Acting and I love my career, but there is a lot of things that I will like to change too.
I'm going to start for something that I think that is paramount... I'm referring to the infrastructure of DETUCH (Departamento de Teatro de la Universidad de Chile)
This is really depressing because when it rains, we got wet because the leaks. We don't have places for our rehearsals, we have to share the classrooms, halls and all the possible places that we found. But there is so many groups that need to practice, so it's completely normal for us to rehearse in public places even when it's late.
Besides, we don't have a place to study. There is a library, but it has very irregular schedule and when it's open, you can't make noise, therefore it's impossible to do works in groups that involves discussion. Also the "cafeteria" it's too small.
I will like that we have a more suitable space for study, I think that are basics things that all students will like to have... But I have too say that there is a lot of deficiencies specific of the career, like have more spotlights to develop our proposals or have bigger bathrooms or dressing rooms.
But what I want the most, it's to share with others students from other art's carrers <3
that's so sad :c in our career we had like a library remodeling, with a second floor with new computers, but when the winter came, the rain leaked through and all the computers crashed and the second floor was closed, so it was all a waste, and we have less space to study u_u at least the classmates are nice and supportive <3
ResponderEliminarDespite all the sad things, im very happy to see the foto when we worked together in "Un tiro-milcabos".
ResponderEliminarNice Post
How come non of us have a decent roof ;O
ResponderEliminarnone* haha
EliminarWhen it comes to remodeling, there was a time when in Arts the bathrooms were remodeled and we were with a container for about two years since the bathrooms were not finished. it was horrible
ResponderEliminarit is really unfortunate that your faculty suffers that level of precariousness in the infrastructure.
ResponderEliminargood post our faculty have to be the best one, no the worst one!
ResponderEliminarHello!
ResponderEliminarI think that what happens in the "Alfonso Letelier Llona" faculty at Artes Centro is very similar to what happens in the "Department of Theater of the University of Chile" because of the people studying in the corridors until late at night (I consider myself of those people ahah) and with the casino, for example we have a space for that, but nobody works selling food.
In any case, I hope that all the shortcomings of the Faculty of Arts will be solved over time, perhaps we will be the ones to do it ourselves.
regards!
Benjamín Chávez.
